Turkey

About Turkey 🦃

Turkey is an interesting country spanned on two continents. Named after its father Ataturk, we think that a more suitable explanation is that name originates from German world for "die Tür" (meaning doors) as Bosphorus and Dardanelles Strait open a door to the world. While its capital city is Anakara, the biggest and more important one is Istanbul.

Our Journey

Turkey is a vast country, so you can spend your entire vaccation only in one city. We, however, sacrificed a lot of our time for transport. That way we could explore not only gigantic cities but also rural and less visited places of Turkey.

1

Istanbul

Also Carigrad, Konstantinopel and Byzantium is the biggest city in Turkey. It is spanned on two continets divided by Bosphorus and Dardanelles Strait.

2

Selçuk

A small lovely town, packed with different historic adventures and wonderful atmosphere.

3

Pamukkale

Place feeling like heaven, when walking along white paths and ponds with sky-blueish water.

4

Ölüdeniz

Pretty town near the coast with fabulous lagoon beaches and the sky full of paragliders.

5

Antalya

Enormous city on the coast of Turkey with a cute Old Town to spend your evenings in.

6

Konya

Holding a lot of historical significance, it is a city of culture and a strong educational centre of Turkey.

7

Göreme

Filled with hot-air balloons in morning and turists at night, Göreme is the most magical city in Turkey for sure.

8

Ankara

Capital of the Turkey it is a vast city with many gems to see.

9

Istanbul

We went here just to depart back home.
