There's really only one association with Peru: Machu Pichu. We'll get there eventually.
However, Peru is one of the world's most historically culturally diverse countries thanks to its diverse terrain, elevation and long vertical length on the map. It is important to learn Spanish in advance unless you want to eat dry sandwiches for the rest of your life.



Due to the southern hemisphere, the seasons in Peru are just about inverted. Thus, although we travelled in september, it was just the beginning of spring there. And many Peruvians could be seen in down jackets.
