About Malaysia

Malaysia – where cultures meet.

Malaysia is a highly diverse Asian country. Spanning across the Southeastern Asian peninsula and the Borneo island nearby, it gives rise to huge natural, cultural and meteorogical diversity.

People here are geographically well educated – most of them know Slovenia and don't mix it with Slovakia! 🙌🏻

The Journey

This year's original destination idea was Bali. However, tickets have skyrocketed during the last year. Now I get a medal for deciding the actual destination 5 days prior to departure. Say hi to Malaysia!

Due to upcoming monsoon, the Borneo island will have to wait for the next time!

1

Singapore

Part of Malaysia in the past, Singapore inherited the cultural diversity and became a highly-developed city-country. 🦁

2

Kuala Lumpur

Sky-touching buildings and misty forests.

3

Kuala Berang

A glorious lake and friendliest locals.

4

Camron Highlands

Tea plantations, hiking trails and waterfalls. Spill the tea!

5

George Town

Touristic with a national park.

6

Singapore

I went here by night bus just to try some more local cuisine and depart back home.
