In January, our plane landed in –30 °C at a cute little airport. Everything was covered in snow. We were greeted by coordinators of the Buddy Programme and a bus drove us to our accommodations.
Pro tip: even if the weather is sub-freezingly cold, follow larger roads on your Maps. Because smaller ones may disappear beneath huge piles of snow.
