About India

India – the land of spices and tasty food.

India is among the top in the statistics of per capita population. Land of spices and overly spicy food, the cuisine is just waiting to be tasted. We cannot wait to attend a genuine cooking class to learn the art of Indian cooking. Maybe even more than a land of silk and spices, India is notorious as a scammerland. From abroad you may have been a target of fake support call centres, but when visiting, scams become much more personal. Not for the weak.

India is also known for the developed (but certainly not modern) railway system, much used for covering vast distances between enormous cities. Indians are proud of their rapid population growth and railways play a crucial role in maintaining the population in check. Many participate for Darwin awards, dying on rail tracks or jumping on and off moving trains.

When buying groceries, all items have government-enforced maximum price (MRP). It is prescribed by the manufacturer. It is illegal to charge more for it.

Our Journey

This time we had actually booked a flight with normal layover times and airport locations, so the inbound journey was really pleasant. As long as your visa application was done correctly, your emigration will be as smooth as silk.
